Job Overview:
The M&E officer will provide leadership and coordination for M&E activities at the district level He/she will be responsible for coordinating data collection and data management for the district, including ensuring data quality and reporting in time to meet key deadlines. Together with the district Assistant Program Manager, the M&E officer would perform data analysis, interpretation, and preparing material for data demand and use for meetings at facilities, subdistrict, and district levels. He/she will supervise the data capturers at the facility level.
Key Performance Areas
- Establishing strong working relationships with key district and facility Managers dealing with Monitoring & Evaluation /Information management, and programs supported to facilitate effective collaboration, information sharing, and communication.
- Developing district and M&E plans
- Contributing to the improvement of Health Information Systems (HIS), M&E activities, and Data Quality with the district DOH and facilities by undertaking visits to district/facilities as needed to support and/or mentor data collection/collation or verify data quality or carry out spot checks/views.
- Conducting basic data analysis and interpretation, as required for program support and also for reporting.
- Preparing district monthly, quarterly, and annual programmatic performance reports
- Support implementation of TIER TB Module data
- Document best practices, trends, and success stories
- Participating in meetings and workshops related to M&E at district, sub-district, and facility levels and reporting on the progress of activities.
- Conducting training and capacity building for data capturers and other program staff
- Provide inputs for the monthly and annual project performance reports.
Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate diploma in Public Health/Social Sciences/ Statistics/Information Management or related relevant field
- An additional qualification in M&E will be an advantage.
- 5 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation with substantial experience in public health and monitoring and evaluation capacity building
- Good understanding of public health programs
- Experience working on Tier.Net and/ or EDR-Web will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrate experience in performing data analysis and interpreting results.
- Knowledge of MS software packages and databases
- Strong computer skills particularly in spreadsheets and data analytical skills

Job Overview:
The Driver /Data Capturer responsibility is to drive the mobile DXCR Van and to maintain capturing of patients’ information, collate information and prepare reports for submission and presentation to the organization, and National Dept of Health. Supporting Mobile Digital Chest X-Ray (DCXR) Van and Community Outreach Data activities and reports to the Community Engagement and Linkage Manager.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Driver
- Inspect the vehicle for defects before, during and after Mobile DCXR Van outreach and report faults to the relevant officer.
- Drive the Mobile DCXR Van to identified hotspot as per request of the TSO, ENAs, ENs, Sub-district and District.
- Ensuring compliance with all Isibani Development Partners and local driving laws and regulations.
- Maintenance Vehicle including regular check-ups, cleanings, and fueling.
- Maintaining an accurate vehicle log.
- Working with the office to manage daily vehicle and trip scheduling as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and paperwork on all vehicle-related purchases and maintenance.
- Providing safe transportation to and from identified Hotspot outreach for the programme.
Data Capture
- Document all patient’s records coming for DCXR before receiving the services.
- Advise clients on the processes to follow for DCXR.
- Capture client’s information prior to DCXR examination.
- Communicate with EN regarding patients results and do follow up.
- Administer transportation logistics, stationery, and medical supplies for the DCXR services.
- Link all clients to ENAs with signs and symptoms for testing (Sputum Collection) and diagnosis.
- Link all the clients to ENAs who received TB suggestive at the Mobile DCXR Van to ensure linkage to care to facilities in the area where DCXR services is being provided.
- ENAs to ensure that all the clients linked to care are submitted to TB Focal Point/Room/Data Capture to register and capture in Tier.net.
- Ensure accurate daily data capturing and consolidation for all reached Hotspots.
- Ensure that data is transmitted to relevant M&E Officers and Isibani managers within the set timeframes.
- Participate in data quality management by performing systems verifications, data quality assurance and control measures.
- Collect weekly activity schedule from Community Office and share with Administration support, Radiographer and Isibani M&E Officer.
- Archive patients records in the files.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly reporting templates accurately and timely submission thereof.
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Have basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS and TB
- Experience working with DOH data and/or M&E systems.
- Experience of working on Tier.Net and/ or EDR-Web will be added advantage.

Job Overview:
The role of the Professional Nurse is to provide registration of patients who are diagnosed with TB in hospitals. Improve quality standards for recording of TB data in hospital. Job Overview:
The role of the District Pharmacist (DP)is to provide overall coordination of the pharmaceutical services with particular focus on TB and adjuvant medicines. The DP will work closely with the District Pharmacist and report directly to the Assistant Program Manager at District level who will monitor day to day activities and approve timesheets. This position requires a good understanding of the medicine quantification, procurement, and supply chain management systems to ensure reliable procurement, storage, control, and distribution of quality medicines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Technical / Management

Excellent understanding of the National Drug policy, Good Pharmacy Practice
Sound knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and the Medicine and Related Substances Control Act

Excellent report writing skills.
Good IT skills and understanding of existing information systems used in pharmaceutical services.

Qualification and Experience
An appropriate national diploma/degree accredited with the South African Pharmacy Council that allows for registration with the SAPC.
Current registration with the SAPC.
At least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical services
Experience in administration and management.
Valid driver’s license.

Job Overview:
The Project Manager will lead the overall implementation of the Adolescent and Young People (AYP) program, manage stakeholder engagement, provide oversight on all reporting requirements. He/she will ensure technical quality, close adherence to work plans, milestones and deliverables of the project are met.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Technical / Management
- Lead the overall planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and reporting of the AYP program, safe spaces, in-school and out of school, community outreach, biomedical and TVET and Tertiary Institution activities in the Sub-district to achieve results against set objectives.
- Oversee overall mapping of safe spaces and community outreach points in the Subdistrict.
- Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders i.e. government departments, schools, community leadership and all other relevant stakeholders.
- Advocate for the implementation of the In-School and Out-of-School, safe spaces and community outreach AYP activities with the various stakeholders and government departments.
- Ensure the AYP safe spaces and community outreach activities are aligned with the relevant government policies and legislations to facilitate linkages and retention.
- Work with the AYP program technical team to ensure all AYP program related data is collected, validated, reported and utilised accurately and timeously to inform and guide evidence-based program planning and implementation.
- Work with the AYP program technical team to ensure that the AYP safe spaces and community AYP program staff have the necessary capacity to use biometric management system as applicable.
- Assess/ identify capacity needs of AYP program staff and build their capacity through training, mentoring, coaching and supportive supervision as appropriate.
- Actively participate in on-site data verification and routine data quality assessment (DQA) activities.
- Represent the AYP program in all relevant platforms as and when required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and the Isibani senior management team

- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Sound problem solving and decision-making skills; effective time management and coordination skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline: public health/education /social sciences or relevant field.
- At least 5-10 years’ experience in HIV and AIDS programming, with a specific focus on AYP or adolescent and youth-friendly services (AYFS).
- At least 5 years or more experience in project management and supervision
- Demonstrated experience in AYP program planning and implementation. Program management experience in Global Fund, PEPFAR or other AYP projects is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of government social development, health and basic educations systems; KwaZulu – Natal Province-specific experience would be an added advantage.
- Experience in relevant technical fields (education, public health, community development etc.)
- Proven track record in coaching project implementation teams for successful execution of projects
- Highly developed communication and group facilitation skills, including ability to deliver compelling presentations and facilitate learning
- Experience managing highly risky projects/ grants with minimal supervision
- Experience in managing AYP related grants-desirable
- Should have experience in working with youth programmes or demonstrate knowledge of youth challenges for him/her to be able to provide guidance to the field officer
